Hi Marilyn , hope your day is a great one!!

just checked on your friends - you might want to look for some new ones. Most of your friends are no longer here. Every once in a while I go through mine and if you look it tells you when they last checked in. When it's been over a year I remove them so I know my friends are current.

Here's how I did it:

I built up a healthy group of friends. Then I learned if I returned the comments everyone left on my photos they would look at mine. I found captions were important. Most people want to know what they are looking at. I also only post one or two photos a day because if I post more - it was too much to ask people to take the time to look at them.

Right now I'm behind with my gather business because I'm working again outside the house but I will catch up eventually.

Also I can't stand the thousands of email telling me so and so posted a photo so I shut those off. But I do get notifications of comments on my content and respond to every one of those if those people have content that I haven't commented on before.

I bet New York is fun. But I like the quiet life. :)

Don't live that far from Midwood. Yes it's gr8 to meet a fellow Brooklyn lass and anthropologist. I have indeed read Mama Lola and even met Karen McCarthy Brown, the author on a few occasions. Small world!

I would love a recipe for Gefilte fish and honey cake! I can't wait to try your recipes. My 26 year old daughter really wants to learn to cook recipes for the holidays from scratch...No more jar Gefilte fish!
